I’ve been drinking Apreol Spritz‘s for years, but it seems the rest of the world is finally catching on. A normal ‘Spritz’ is a wine-based bubbly cocktail often served in Italy.
I spent the weekend prematurely kicking off Summer at ‘Splash House’in Palm Springs with a lovely photo opp and bar activation to promote the classic yet seemingly new cocktail.
What makes Aperol Spritz, Aperol Spritz? According to their website, the orange is unmistakable, a vibrant color which lights up your toasts and adds joy to the moment.
Personally, I think it’s the perfect brunch cocktail, refreshing with a bitter-sweet after taste. So, Move over mimosa!
APEROL SPRITZ RECIPE
– FILL A WINE GLASS WITH ICE
– COMBINE PROSECCO DOC FOLLOWED BY APEROL IN EQUAL PARTS
– ADD A DASH OF SODA
– GARNISH WITH AN ORANGE SLICE
