A FEW REASONS SAN FRAN’S PROPER HOTEL’S ROOFTOP BAR IS A DESIGN DESTINATION WORTH SEEING

Proper Hotel proves to be a modern yet cozy design destination & rooftop bar in downtown San Francisco.

On a recent day trip, we spent the afternoon sipping rosé and tasting cocktails at Charmaine’s on the roof of the carefully re-crafted property.

A few reasons we felt the space is worth seeing is for it’s Kelly Wearstler–designed interiors. She keeps it chic and sophisticated while maintaining a lively urban environment.

The large windows on the roof of this historic flatiron building constructed in the early 1900s lets in a ton of natural light. So even if there aren’t any tables available outside, the sliding doors still make for an inviting indoor outdoor experience by the fireplace.

The hotel as a whole is hip and visually intoxicating, but the views on the swanky rooftop lounge make for an incredibly chill-axing afternoon.

The rooftops bar’s menu consists of an array of cocktails from BV Hospitality. So if you’re looking for fancy but fun cocktails, you’ll surely find a favorite. Mine was the Nature boy cause … Jack Daniels.

Overall, I was happy we made the midday pit stop and look forward to coming back and experiencing a Proper stay.
